Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will be a committed, enthusiastic and collaborative GP.
6 sessions per week – morning and afternoons Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Additional hours are also available for Enhanced Access cover.
As a training practice, we are looking for candidates that are comfortable supporting with the supervision of GP trainees and other MDT colleagues.
Experience of digital triage and coils/ implants useful.

Newbridge Surgery is a supportive, kind and welcoming place to work. We are an established, well-regarded training practice of over 9,000 patients and we continue to grow, with high QOF scores and CQC-rated ‘good’. We work from a modern, purpose-built premises with a pharmacy attached. Our non-clinical and clinical team, including allied health professionals, are motivated, happy, true to the values of general practice and open to change.
We are part of Minerva Primary Care Network (PCN) and have great collaborative relationships with our PCN colleagues.
Where are we?
We are located in the beautiful, historic city of Bath. The rail connections, rural city feel, cultural and sporting amenities, good schools and laid-back atmosphere make Bath a great place to live and work. The surgery is located close to the Royal United Hospital Bath about one mile west of the city centre, close to the river.
Useful to know…
o TPP Sytmone clinical system with Accurx for digital triage.
o GP led digital triage for GP appointments.
o We allocate triage session on a fair-share basis with a mixture of am and pm on-call sessions. AM Triage/Duty normally workday will be 8am to 6pm and PM Triage/Duty normal workday will be 9am to 7pm. Generally, for 6 sessions per week there will be 1 or 2 Triage/Duty sessions per week.
